Ok, so this trailer is intriguing: http://movies.yahoo.com/movies/feature/ thelifeaquaticwithstevezissou.html I love Bill Murray. I like how you have a choice between Windows Media or QuickTime ( no real ), and then a choice of movie size. --------- [ Web Sites ] --------- Steve Garfield Video Production http://stevegarfield.com Video Blog http://stevegarfield.blogs.com/videoblog/ Weblog: Off On A Tangent http://offonatangent.blogspot.com/ [View]

Me too, he's made some great movies (and a few stinkers http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0120483/) > >I like how you have a choice between Windows Media or QuickTime ( no >real ), and then a choice of movie size. Actually, you must have chosen QuickTime. If you choose Windows Media, then you get another set of choices: Player: Windows or Real? Speed: Dial-up 28K, Dial-up 56K, ISDN 100K, or DSL/Cable/LAN/300K It looks like they're using progressive download for QT and streaming for RM and WM. I think "Small, Medium, Large, FullScreen" is probably more user-friendly than specifying the connection type/speed. -- Sean -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- M. We'll probably change the speed setting to be a size setting. (Right now we have different quality video, but at the same size 320x240.)</promo> -- --------------------------------------------------------------------------- M. Personally i think it overdoes stuff and for videoblogging you either accept you're broadband, or narrowband, and work to that. multiple formats a different issue. buying into the mpeg4 argument i'd simply plump for that as a political act of support. It is a standard, it has specifications, they are published, and it is scalable. cheers Adrian Miles ................................................................. hypertext.rmit || hypertext.rmit.edu.au/adrian interactive networked video || hypertext.rmit.edu.au/vog research blog || hypertext.rmit.edu.au/vog/vlog/ [View]
