explosions, fire, and a tv interview

Lots of excitement here today. The day started of with explosions and a fire on the street, which I shot a video of and posted on my video blog. http://stevegarfield.blogs.com/videoblog/ Then the local news station, FOX 25, came for an interview with me about blogs, video blogs and the Democratic Convention coming to town. They were here for over an hour and 1/2. I explained blogs, video blogs, what's happening with them and what the future holds. I hope my excitement about it all comes through in the interview when it's broadcast on tv next wednesday at 5 and again at 10. The unfortunate part of the interview came when I had to demonstrate how easy it is to post a video to a blog. I had done a dry run prior to their arrival and everything was fine. then came time for lights, camera, action. I clicked open ECTO and my trial had run out! That's embarrassing. Too bad for Ecto that they don't let you continue to click through and use the program. So I went back to typepad and talked though posting a link with an embedded jpeg to my html video page. I'm sure they'll edit most of it out. Overall it was an exhilarating experience. --Steve --------- [ Please Note ] --------- If my email hosting service is rejecting your replies, please give me a phone call. It's not you, it's them!
