> (welcome back andreas. you still on vacation??? lucky dog) Sadly I had to return to Denmark since school starts back up bright and early Monday morning. I flew back the night between Thursday and Friday, and the jetlag is still killing me. That's why I'm still not alseep now... at 3 am in the damn morning. > yes, non-linear hyperlink madness is cool, but there must be a way for > us to > make something togther. > one person start..someone else add on..then another...and another...and > then > you have a whole video of different perspectives on the same topic. > i want to be able to see this togther without having to jump all around > the > net. > non-linear is one kind of power. linear is another kind of power as well. > > so please respond to this point because its all i can think about lately. I'll make and host a proof-of-concept type entry. The programming isn't hard - that part I worked out in my head in 40 minutes when I was trying to sleep. I'll just have to come up with an video entry that people can comment on. :o) Expect something Monday morning, or thereabout. I'm bound to run into some kind of trouble with the programming. It'll be a SMIL file (thanks for introducing them, Peter!) since I don't have the kind of brain power it would take to physically stich together the different videofiles on the server (with different codecs and all that kind of stuff). With a bit of luck the viewer should not see the difference. - Andreas, who will hopefully catch some sleep before the women's handball final in the morning (Go Denmark!) -- Personal: <http://www.solitude.dk> File Thingie - PHP File Manager <http://www.solitude.dk/filethingie/>
