I think your frustrations over not getting sufficient feedback over your rel="enclosure" and general HTML-based solutions has seeped over into this thread, Andreas. I noticed it after you started to mention the possible use of <a> tags as a solution earlier this month. It's a very good idea and would definitely solve some of our problems beyond just videoblogging. And like you said, you need to make changes within blogging and media creation tools for this to work. Just presenting this to the videoblogging community isn't going to gain it widespread adoption. Perhaps you need to present this to a couple of other groups that would benefit from examining your idea and helping you in getting it rolling (wordpress-hackers? the ipodder-dev list, perhaps?) You should forward your post to them and see what they think.
