hi all wearing my Media Studies at RMIT hat here: we have just provided MT blogs to *every* first year media studies student (approximately 60 of 'em). They will be provided for the duration of their undergraduate career, and if they prove effective we are hoping to host them permanently (as an alumni service). We're interested in them as reflective writing spaces for education but also believe our students should be network literate which means using the network, being good citizens of the network, being identified in the network, and so on. blogs are good for this. relation to this list: next year i have them in a subjet where everyone will make a video blog for at least a week so will be ablog video diary. we'll do the same thing with pdf to make video and audio books. so if there was a decent tool out there, we'd buy it and use it. And these are kids, so i want and hope for them to invent their futures. cheers Adrian Miles ................................................................. hypertext.rmit || hypertext.rmit.edu.au/adrian interactive networked video || hypertext.rmit.edu.au/vog research blog || hypertext.rmit.edu.au/vog/vlog/
